Dear Parents:
It was a pleasure photographing your kids at the
Encore Showcase Regional Competition. Here are few
important notes that will make your ordering easier.
Organization of Photos:
All photos are
organized in 15-30 minute sessions. For example, if you kid performed at
2:12 PM, you will find the photos in 1400-1430 session. If the session
contain extraordinary amount of photos, we will break it up to 15-minute
session). It is important to note that we organize the photos by the
“actual performance” time and not the “scheduled” time.
Focus Point for Photos Containing More than One
Person:
If more than one person is in the photo, it is
possible that not all persons are in sharp focus. This happens when the
kids appear in different rows. Please make sure your kid is in focus prior
to placing your order. If you are not sure, you are always welcome to send
us an email
photocard to verify if your kid is in focus.
Cropping for Photos Containing More than One
Person:
We will generally crop for the subject in the center
of each photo. Please make sure to tell us if your kids appeared in the
edge of a specific photo so we can crop accordingly.
Things in the Foreground:
Due to the
placement of the judges, many shots will have judge’s head or computer
screen used by the judges in the foreground. If the object is not
superimposed in front of the kids, we will attempt to remove the
distracting foreground; however, if the object is actually in front of the
kids, we will not able to remove the foreground and re-create the missing
parts.
Removal of Partial Body Parts:
If an arm
or leg of another person appears on the photo, we will do our best to
remove them. However, unless the background is homogenous (simple black as
opposite to the Encore logo), we are unable to remove the arm or leg.
